Brenda J. Huff of Drumright, Okla., was born July 9, 1949, in Yale, Okla. She died Wednesday, December 22, 2021, in Oklahoma City at the age of 72 years.
Huff, the daughter of A.D. “Jappy” and Mary Naomi (Brittain) Ward, married Rusty Huff on June 8, 1972.
A Stroud High School graduate, she studied cosmetology in Pennsylvania. She owned and operated Brenda’s Swirls & Curls in Stroud before relocating to Drumright and opening as Brenda & Company.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her brother Bill Ward and her sister Beverly Saliba.
Survivors include her husband Rusty of the home; her son Kim Huff of Oklahoma City; her daughter Brooke Davis of Edmond, Okla.; two grandsons; and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m., Friday, January 7, 2022, at Drumright First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Durant officiating. Burial will follow at Euchee Valley Memorial Park near Cushing, Okla. Final arrangements were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright.
