Jesus told us how to find Him when He was twelve years old in the King James Version. Many other versions I have read changed the wording where it was no longer a mystery, but did not even explain what Jesus said. When Jesus did not follow the group to his home and His
mother and dad realized He was not with other family, they went back looking for Him. As the scripture says when they found Him He was in the temple asking questions of the priest. His mother asked Him why did you do this? Didn’t you know we looked for you sorrowingly. Jesus replied, “How is it you looked for me? Don’t you know I must be about my Father’s business?”
To me this is very plain to see as we are to seek to do what we are supposed to do, and that is to keep the sayings of Jesus. All things we do that are commanded of us will be Jesus doing them. It’s simple, if we are really looking for Jesus do these things and you will see Him doing them.
We should not try to shortcut salvation with leaving out the commandments of God. Remember Jesus said in John 14:21, He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me, and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love Him, and will manifest myself to him. So how is it we are trying to find Jesus?
So how is it we are trying to find Jesus? It’s all spiritual today, so when we do what He said we must always remember Jesus is doing it all.
