Raymond Louis Pennock was born to William Pennock and Charolette Spooner on June 6, 1949, in Pawnee, Okla. He died Friday, January 14, 2022, at his home in Stroud. He was 72 years old.
Raymond served in the United States Army and worked as an electrician until retirement.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one son, Dakota Pennock; one daughter, Ramona Pennock; his sisters, Denise Bateman, Barbara Pennock, Billy Ruth Pennock and Patty Harjo; and his brothers, Bobby Jack Pennock and William “JJ” Pennock.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Debra Harjo; four daughters, Cassie Thorpe, Jayelyn Pennock, Angela Pennock and Cheri Pennock; three sons, Kit Pennock, William Pennock and Raymond Pennock II; several granddaughters and grandsons ; his brother Rick Pennock and sister Jean Pennock; and other relatives and friends.
A wake service was held by the family on Monday, January 17, 2022, at the Sac & Fox Community Building in Stroud. Funeral services were held there on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, with burial following at Spooner Family Cemetery in Meeker. Care services were under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
