Joyce Lee Franklin was born August 19, 1946, in Chandler and died Saturday, February 12, 2022. She was 75 years old.
Franklin, the daughter of C.L. and Gracie (Taylor) Thronesbery, married James Franklin on February 14, 2015, in Chandler.
A 1964 graduate of Chandler High School, she earned a degree in secretarial studies from Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee. She worked at Tinker Air Force Base, Midwest City, Okla.; Haliburton; and Brown and Root. She was a member of Chandler First Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her son Craig Vance and two husbands.
Survivors include her husband James Franklin; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Jamie Crawford and David and Anna Crawford; her brother and sister-in-law, Carroll and Evon Thronesbery; numerous grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life for Joyce will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Chandler.
