Bobby Gene Bohannon

Funeral services will be held for Bobby Gene Bohannon at 2 p.m., Friday, April 1, 2022, in the chapel of Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, Okla. Visitation will precede services 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Palmer Marler Funeral Home, which handled final arrangements.

Bohannon, 73, of the Cushing/Stroud area, was born April 19, 1948, in Cushing. He died Saturday, March 26, 2022, in Drumright, Okla.

The son of L.R. and Mildred (Coy) Bohannon, he married Karen Price.

A Stroud High School graduate, he served in the National Guard. He was a welder and worked several places included the City of Cushing, the fire department and Kerr McGee Refinery. He was a member of Freewill Baptist Church in Cushing.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers-in-law, Howard McFarland and Ron Adkins; and his sister and brother-in-law, Laverla and Junior Nichols.

Survivors include Flora Wikel of Cushing and her children, Rhonda and Jimmy Wilson, Naomi Jean and Rick McKinney, Raymond and Lizlea Wikel, and Renee and Jason Wikel; his daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Doug Kimberlin of Sulphur, Okla.; and two grandchildren.

He is also survived by his siblings, Louise Mc-Farland of Kingfisher, Okla., Ruann and husband Leonard Clinesmith of Eufaula, Okla.; and other family and friends.
