Nancy Lanette Johnson was born to Kenneth Wayne and Martha Lou (Gaines) Johnson on September 6, 1961, in Chandler. She died Wednesday, March 30, 2022, in Shawnee, Okla., at the age of 60 years.
A 1979 Chandler High School graduate, Nancy earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond.
She worked as a teacher’s aide for Meeker Public Schools and as a counselor at Mabel Basset Correctional Institution in McLoud, Okla.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son Gabe Johnson; her siblings, Larry Johnson, Jerry Johnson and Mitch Johnson; and other family and friends.
Private burial will be at White Dove Cemetery in Sparks. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
