Lynda Sue Murphy was born to James Lee Murphy and Theresa Frances Carbonara on March 5, 1962, in Guthrie, Okla.
She died Saturday, April 9, 2022, at the age of 60 years.
Lynda, a 1980 Wellston High School graduate, retired at Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City, Okla., as a production controller scheduler.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca Lynn and Brian Ellithorp of Edmond, Okla.; her sister Teri Fieselman and brother James Lee Murphy Jr., both of Wellston; and other family and friends.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, April 14, 2022, in the chapel of Lehman Funeral Home, which handled the final arrangements. Burial will follow at Wellston Cemetery.
