A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for a Stroud resident facing a felony charge after former conviction of felonies following his arrest recently by Stroud police.
Holden Blake Draper, 29, was formally charged April 25 in Lincoln County District Court with Assault and Battery with a dangerous weapon after former conviction of two or more felonies.
Special Judge Emily Mueller set a $10,000 bond for Draper and ordered him to have no contact with the victim.
On April 28, she scheduled a pre-preliminary hearing for May 12. On that date, she set his preliminary hearing for 1:30 p.m. June 24.
Draper is accused on April 20, without justifiable or excusable cause, of assaulting and battering Shawn Holley with a sharp weapon with the intent to injure and harm Holley.
Supplemental information filed by prosecutors show that Holley was convicted on Nov. 14, 2017, in Lincoln County District Court of the following charges.
The felony offense of Count 1 of possession of CDS; Count 2, possession of drug paraphernalia; Count 3, merchandise from retailer.
And, the felony offense of Count 1, uttering a forged instrument, Count 2, uttering a forged instrument; Count 3 uttering a forged instrument; Count 4, uttering a forged instrument; Count 5, knowingly concealing stolen property.
He also was convicted of the felony offense of second degree burglary.
