Patrick Charles Anderson of Prague, passed away July 21, 2022 at the age of 82. Anderson was born, April 15, 1940 to Patrick Issac Anderson and Freda Bell Cook in Lawton, Okla.
He served in the United States Army at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. He served in the reserves for four years. Anderson worked as a Chief Inspector at Oklahoma Natural Gas for more than 30 years and then OneOK, in Shawnee, for five years before retiring in 2000. He moved his family to Prague in 1968 and married Linda McCammon on Oct. 29, 2002. Pat was a member of the catholic church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Issac Anderson; his mother, Freda Bell Anderson, one sister, Aeileen Conway and one great grandbaby.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Anderson, of the home; three sons and two daughter-in-laws, Patrick I. Anderson of Prague, Jack and Michelle Anderson of Little Rock, Arkansas and Rockie and Burnedette of Tulsa; one daughter and son-in-law, Teresa Bell and Ray Cooper of Prague and one sister, Judy Wilson of Shawnee. He also leaves behind twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many other family and friends.
Funeral services were held July 26, 2022, at Parks Brothers Funeral Services Chapel in Prague, Oklahoma, with M. Dale Griffin officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague, Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Patrick’s honor to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
