Maxwell Brooks Ricketts, II was born February 16, 1941 in Ashland, Kentucky to Maxwell Ricketts and Margary (Gee) Phipps.
He passed away October 18, 2022 in Wellston at the age of 81.
Max was adopted by Dee’s family who loved him dearly; Rose, Mona, Dorothy, Mary, Ervin and all their children, Sharron, Kathy, Mike, David, Debbie, Vanessa, Lauri, J.R., Brian.
Max was preceded in death by his sons, Maxwell Ricketts III, David Arthur Ricketts; parents, Maxwell and Margary Phipps; brothers, Burton Ricketts, Bobby Ricketts; and sister, Josie Waters.
Survivors include his wife, Dee Ricketts of the home; daughter, Amy Clark; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and sister, Sue Matula.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, October 25, 2022 in the Lehman Funeral Home chapel under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
