A Prague woman facing a harboring from justice charge has waived her preliminary hearing and her arraignment has been scheduled.
State prosecutors have dismissed two other felonies filed against her previous to the harboring charge.
Whitney Harrison, 34 at the time and from Prague, was charged July 29, 2022 in Lincoln County District Court.
Harrison is accused of harboring Kenneth Gale Simon, 37 at the time, of Prague when she knew law enforcement officers were looking for Simon for the purpose of executing warrants. She also appeared before Judge Kirk on July 29, a $5,000 bond was set on the new charge and her initial appearance is scheduled for Sep. 29.
Appearing before Special Judge Emily Mueller last week, she waived her preliminary hearing last week. Judge Mueller has scheduled her arraignment for 9:30 a.m. May 23.
Harrison had been previously charged May 26, 2022 in Lincoln County District Court along with Simon and Kaleb Burleson, then 19.
She was charged at that time with conspiracy and knowingly receiving or concealing stolen property.
State prosecutors recently moved to dismiss those charges against her without cost.
Simon, originally charged with operating/dealing with a chop shop, conspiracy and knowingly receiving or concealing stolen property, was arraigned on March 14. Appearing before District Judge Traci Soderstrom, he entered a not guilty plea.
