Lincoln County commissioners this week opened and tabled bids on one street project and two steel beam bridges. They also accepted solid waste grants and authorized the Sheriff’s Office to apply for a grant.
Commissioners opened several bids for resurfacing of 1st Street in District 2 and then agreed to table them until the next meeting.
They opened a single bid to construct a 35-feet steel beam bridge and opened a bid to construct a 50-feet steel beam bridge and tabled them until the next meeting.
Commissioners approved an estimate on a sheriff’s vehicle repair from the deductible fund.
They authorized the Sheriff’s Office to apply for a 2023-2024 JAG LLE equipment grant.
Commissioners adopted a resolution to accept Solid Waste grants for the Sheriff’s Office and Districts 1, 2 and 3.
They held off and tabled a 75-page contract with Flintco for the jail addition and renovations.
In other business, commissioners: Adopted a resolution to reimburse District 2 for a $5,300 pole trailer from the Use Tax Account. The pole trailer will be shared as needed among all three commissioner districts.
Adopted a County Road Machinery and Equipment Revolving Fund resolution.
Approved an EST, Inc., contract for engineering services to replace a bridge on NS 3350 Road over Quapaw Creek and to replace another bridge on NS 3350 Road over Unnamed Creek in District 3.
Agreed to a Declaration of Surplus for the OSU Extension Office.
Adopted a resolution for disposing of Equipment for the OSU Extension Office.
Adopted a resolution to apportion an unused portion of Flex Spending from American Fidelity.
Agreed to a Memorandum of Understanding for the Town of Wellston for 911 addressing services for Emergency Management.
Approved ARPA Funds expenditure documentation for Pottawatomie County Rural Water District No. 3.
Approved the Mutual Cooperation Agreement between the City of Chandler and the Board of County Commissioners.
Took no action on approving quotes for janitorial services.
Approved the Purchase Card payment approval form.
