Chandler’s Board of Education members this week approved the 2024 Annual School Board Election resolution and approved several policy revisions.
School Supt. Scott Baade pointed out two seats are up in the annual school election. Office No. 4 is currently held by Tony Lee and is for a full five-year term.
Office No. 1, held by Doug Bridge, is up for a two-year unexpired term. Bridge was appointed to the board earlier this year and there are two years remaining of that term.
The board members approved the “Application for Sanctioning,” for the Chandler Basketball Booster Club.
They also approved revising the policy regarding “Board of Education Officers-Treasurer.”
Other revised policies approved included “Board of Education Encumbrance Clerk-Regulation,” the “Notification” and “Student Searches Authority to Transport.”
Board members approved the list of East Side library books as surplus and the list of high school books as surplus.
