Virginia Lou (Hurtt) Sherman was born March 21, 1930 in Shawnee to Elmer and Pearl (Foster) Hurtt.
She passed away January 5, 2024 in Norman at the age of 93.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 54 years, Alvin Sherman, son, Duane Sherman; 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Survivors include her children, Linda Powers and her husband James of OKC, Anita Semtner and her husband Stephen of Shawnee,Terry Sherman and his wife Denise of Kansas, OK; 1 sister; 8 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Afuneral was held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 8, 2024 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel and interment followed in the Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler. Arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
