Lincoln County commissioners this week held up on approving any purchase of software for the county and also heard from a landowner who opposes the wind turbines.
Following a lengthy discussion concerning ISolved HR Software, commissioners agreed to place the item on their next commission meeting agenda.
Under citizens comments, a resident who said he’d been a landowner in the county for more than 24 years told commissioners, “I keep showing up because of the wind turbines. I mentioned a resolution about them that I would like to have placed on the next meeting’s agenda,” as he mentioned to them some of their duties, referring to information he found on those.
Commissioners also adopted a resolution for a CBRI Account for the 2024 Unpaved 3310 Road project and adopted a resolution for CBRI funds for engineering for two bridges in District 3.
They approved an agreement with Central Oklahoma Workforce.
They adopted a resolution for two BIA bridges in District 3.
They approved a quote for the Assessor’s floor\\ project and approved a quote for a cleaning company.
In other business commissioners: Adopted a resolution for equipment lease renewal for the Fiscal Year 2024-2025.
Approved Detention services agreements with Community Works, LLC and Creek County Juvenile Detention Center.
Approved the appointment of Ms. Joan Walter as a member of the Lincoln County Board of Health.
Took no action on approving a service agreement with ComTee for radio tower monitoring for Emergency Management.
Approved a Declaration of Surplus for Emergency Management and adopted a resolution for disposing of equipment for Emergency Management.
Took no action on approval of the Purchase Card Payment Approval Form.
Adopted a resolution appointing requesting, receiving, inventory officers for the Agra Nutrition Center and County Clerk’s Office.
