Lincoln County commissioners during a special meeting this week approved the purchase of software for the county and also approved contract labor for the Opioid Abatement grant administrator.
Commissioners voted 2-1 to purchase Isolved HR Software for $45,225.20 plus a one time fee of $7,000 for one year.
County Clerk Alicia Wagnon said, “This will be beneficial to the whole county.”
District 2 Commissioner Marlon Miller moved to approve the purchase and sign the contract, District 3 Commissioner and Commission Chairman Lee Doolen seconded the motion and they both voted in favor.
District 1 Commissioner Will Fine opposed it. The commissioners also approved Judy Smith as contract labor for the Opioid Abatement Grant Administrator.
They took no action regarding fairgrounds facility charges for the Equine Therapy portion of the Opioid Abatement project, leaving that to the Fair Board.
They approved a quote for the County Assessor’s floor project from McCommas Construction for $1,975. The other quote was from Buoy Brothers Construction for $1,994.40.
They approved a contract and lease agreement with Pitney Bowes for a postage machine.
They voted to go out for bids on a road project regarding a REAP Grant award for District 1. Doolen suggested they set a $125,000 estimate.
Commissioners adopted a resolution appointing requesting, receiving, inventory officers for Emergency Management.
And they approved a Service Agreement with Com-Tec for radio tower monitoring for Emergency Management.
