Lexi Martzall and Mattie White have been named Rotarians of the month for October by the Rotary Club.
Lexi Martzall is the daughter of Edie and Chaiyo Martzall. She has lived in Chandler all her life and has grown up within Chandler Public Schools.
She has been on the honor roll throughout her entire high school career and has received multiple Certificates of Excellence for her 4.0 GPA.
She has completed three courses of AP English and has also received certificates of achievement for Algebra I, Algebra II, and Spanish I.
Martzall runs both track and field and cross country.
She is a three-year state qualifier for the 1600-meter relay and a two-year state qualifier for the 800 and 400-meter relays. For cross country, she has been a state qualifier both years of her participation.
Martzall has been involved in many activities, such as National Honor Society, Student Council, Student Body StuCo Class Representative, Gifted and Talented, Positive Peers, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Business Professionals of America, and BancFirst Student Board. She was also a Girls State delegate in May of 2025, where she was elected mayor of Keene City. This year, Martzall is completing her fourth year of AP English and has been elected as president of the Student Council and vice president of the National Honor Society.
With the organizations she takes part in, she has also done a lot of community service. Some of this includes reading to children at East Side Elementary, shopping for angel tree children, making Valentine and Christmas cards for the local nursing home and veterans, and volunteering at recycling events.
After graduation, Martzall plans to attend Oklahoma State University to pursue a degree in Architecture.
Mattie White is the daughter of Matt and Angie White. She has a 4.0 grade point average and has taken four years of Honor classes and two years of concurrent college classes. White has made the honor roll all four years of high school, as well as the Oklahoma Honor Society. She is the recipient of the Highland Dairy Scholarship and the TOP GoPro Scholarship. She has won academic awards in Physical Science, Biology, Spanish I, Honors English and History White was a member of the Chandler Pom Squad from 2022 to 2023. She helped the team win State in hiphop and Jazz in 2022 and 2023, as well as made Academic All-State in the same years. She has also been a member of Dreamcatcher’s Dance Company for the past four years and was the Mark of Excellence National Dance Champion in 2025.
She was the sophomore and junior class president and is currently serving as senior class president. She has been a part of the Student Council for four years. She has been the National Honor Society StucCo rep and is currently serving as the president of the National Honor Society.
White attended the leadership summit at Camp Cargill in 2025, and she currently travels with Dreamcatcher dance company to assist dancers around the country.
Her other clubs and activities include PSI, Gifted and Talented, Positive Peers, BancFirst Student Board of Directors, Rotary Club, Business Professionals of America, Life Church, Cross Country and Track manager and FCA.
White’s community involvement includes helping with the annual Chandler powerlifting meet, reading a personal essay at the Veterans Day assembly, serving veterans at the Legion Hut, assisting in the Wise Guy Girl Power Conference (an educational day for elementary students), performing skits with positive peers at elementary schools, recycling paper weekly with the National Honor Society, reading to the first graders at East Side Elementary, assisting Vacation Bible School, painting windows on Main Street for Christmas, volunteering at the Bone and Joint Hospital in OKC, and assisting the Oklahoma Highway Patrol delivering Easter baskets.
White currently works at Chilli Willy’s Snowcone Stand and assists at Dreamcatchers Dance Company.
After graduation, she plans to attend the University of Central Oklahoma, majoring in Accounting and obtaining her CPA, then continue to law school. White also plans to audition for the UCO pom team and then later try out for the OKC Thunder’s O’City dance crew.
