Lincoln County commissioners have approved 2025-2026 budget numbers and sent them to the budget maker. Their action came last week during a lengthy special meeting.
The budget numbers total $15,915,594.20. The motion was made by District 1 Commissioner Will Fine, seconded by District 2 Commissioner Marlon Miller. They were joined in approval by District 3 Commissioner Lee Doolen.

The sheriff’s office is trying to bring the salaries of its jailers up to $3,000 a month, Amy Flud, First Deputy in the County Clerk’s Office. said. They are now receiving $2,700 a month.
Inotheraction,thecommissionersapproved$5,000 for the Lincoln County Ambulance District Board for position bonds and budget maker expenses.
