Lincoln County commissioners have approved applications and other related documents to a REAP Grant for a project in District 3.
Their action came during a special county commissioners meeting last week. Amy Hardgrave, first deputy in the Lincoln County Clerk’s Office, explained the REAP grant is for a two-inch, one mile asphalt overlay project of 3300 Road in District 3.
Cost of the grant is $200,000, she said. Commissioners also approved a couple of change orders for the jail renovation project.
One is to add two detention lights to room 157 at a cost of $4,055.15. The other to add five panels along with moving retention air ducts in room 156 to accommodate higher ceilings at a cost of $14,763.
