Chandler High School announces valedictorians, salutatorian

Chandler High School has announced its valedictorians and salutatorians for the graduating Class of 2026. Kennedy Allen, JayceeCross,NicolasLinn, Lexi Martzall, Lily Milam, Weston Miller, Adrianna Rivera, Journey Sanchez, Mattison White and Katie Wright were named valedictorians. FinleyWestwas named salutatorian.

Kennedy Allen, Valedictorian

Kennedy Allen is the daughter of Chaz and Erin Allen. She has attended Chandler Public Schools since pre-K.

Kennedy has a 4.0 GPA and has been on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll for four years. She’s also a member of the National Honor Society. In softball, KennedyhasmadeOSSAA All-State, is a two-time DailyOklahomanAll-State First Team, a three-time All-District Player of the Year, a three-time 66 Conference MVP, a two-time Little All-City Player of the Year and received an Oklahoma State Softball Scholarship.

She is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Positive Peers, Postponing Sexual Involvement, BancFirst Student Advisory Board, Chandler Lions Club, Chandler Rotary Club and Oklahoma Athletics Fastpitch Softball. She is also a member of Chandler Church of the Firstborn.

After graduation, Kennedy plans to attend Oklahoma State University on a softball scholarship and major in Business Entrepreneurship.

Jaycee Cross, Valedictorian

Jaycee Cross is the daughter of Brandon and Amanda Cross. She has attended Chandler Public Schools since pre-K.

Jaycee has a 4.0 GPAand is a member of the Oklahoma State Honor Society. She is also a pom hip-hop and jazz state champion, Business Professionals of America (BPA) national qualifier, Snow Queen and a basketball state champion. She has received an AmericanHistoryAwardof Excellence, an Academic Excellence Award and a GeometryAward of Excellence.

Jaycee has been involved in Positive Peers, Gifted andTalented, PSI, Business Professionals of America, Lions Club, Rotary Club, Cheer Team, BancFirst Student Board and is a baseball manager.

She has been involved in giving presentations through PSI, volunteering at Wise Guys Girl Power, volunteering at the Chandler Public Library’s SummerReadingProgram, helping make Valentine’s Day cards and Christmas cards for the local nursing home and coaching the 5th-6th-grade cheer team for the Chandler Youth Football Association.

After graduation, Jaycee plans to attend Oklahoma Baptist University to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy while cheering on the school stunt and spirit rally team.

Nicholas Linn, Valedictorian

Nicholas Linn is the son of Donna and Larry Linn. He has attended Chandler Public Schools since pre-K.

Nicholas has a 4.0 GPA and is a member of the Oklahoma State Honor Society. He has received Certificates of Achievement for Science, Speech, History, English, Physical Science, Geometry and Chemistry. He has also received an Academic Excellence Award for three years in a row.

Nicholas is a member of PSI, Gifted and Talented, National Honor Society, National Society of High School Scholars, theYearbook staff, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, CatalystYouth Group, Fish Club leader, Rotary Club, Powerlifting, Lions Club, BancFirst Student Board and Business Professionals of America.

He’s taken part in presentations for PSI, Wise Guy Girl Power, Memorial Garden, serving veterans lunch on Veterans Day, serving at the local food pantryandwindowpainting on Main Street during Christmas.

After graduation, Nicholas plans to attend Oklahoma State University and pursue a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Administration and Operations, while taking private pilot lessons. After university, he would like to find a job with a private or commercial airline.

Lexi Martzall, Valedictorian

Lexi Martzall is the daughter of Edie and Chaiyo Martzall. She has attended Chandler Public Schools since kindergarten.

Lexi has a 4.0 GPA and has been on the honor roll for four years. She has received a Good Citizen Citation from the American Legion Auxiliary for graduating Girls State, the Spirit of a Lion Award for cross-country and Academic Excellence awards. She’s completed four years of AP/Honors English and received a Certificate of Achievement for Algebra I, Algebra II and Spanish. Lexi is a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society, Student Council president, National Honor Society vice president and the Student Body StuCo Class of 2026 representative.

She is part of the Lions Club, Rotary Club, Banc-First Student Board of Directors, varsity track, varsity cross country, Gifted and Talented, Positive Peers, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Business Professionals of America and FutureFarmersofAmerica.

Lexi has volunteered for the Rotary Club Halloween Festival, worked at Park Road’s Parent University and led the volunteer group of students who painted business windows for Christmas. She’s taken part in a community recycling event, gathered paper from teachers to be recycled, volunteered at the Chandler Powerlifting meet, read to elementary students and worked with kids in Wise Guy Girl Power. She has cooked for and volunteered at Soup Da Doup, made holiday cards for the local nursing homes and veterans, shoppedforAngelTree children, held a stand down for homeless veterans, wrote names for Kaddish Prayer in OKC, decorated and provided snacks in the teacher’s lounge for teacher appreciation day, organized and performed at the Veterans Day program and planted flowers at the history museum.

After graduation, Lexi plans to attend Oklahoma State University to pursue a five-year professional degree in Architecture.

Lily Milam, Valedictorian

Lily Milam is the daughter of Rusty and Ginger Milam. She has attended Chandler Public Schools since pre-K.

She has a 4.0 GPA and has been a member of the Oklahoma High School Honor Society. She’s also received Academic Excellence Awards throughout school. She has earned chair placements at various honor bands and been a part of the Cimarron Valley Honor Band for four years, the East Central Oklahoma Band Directors Association for three years, the Oklahoma Small School All-State Band for two years, and alternate chairs for the Oklahoma Music Educators Association for two years. She has received superior ratings at solo and ensemble for four years at both District and State levels.

Lily plays the tuba/sousaphone for the Chandler High School band and is a member of the Church of Christ.

She volunteers to clean her church.

After graduation, Lily plans to attend Oklahoma State University to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. Afterwards, she plans to attend Northeastern State University for a doctorate in optometry.

Weston Miller, Valedictorian

Weston Miller is the son of Adam and Mary Miller. He has attended Chandler Public Schools since the third grade.

He has a 4.0 GPA and has been on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll for three years. He is a member of the 2A State Champion Marching Band (2024) and has received Superior ratings for four years in solo and ensemble for band and choir. He made theAll-Star Cast for Drama One Act Regionals in 2024, as well as All-State Cast at the Oklahoma Thespian Society OneAct competition in 2025. He was inducted as a member of Troup 1825 in 2025.

Weston is a member of the Chandler Wind Symphony, Academic Team, Gifted and Talented, Thespian Troupe 1825, Music Makers, Student Council and National Honor Society.

His community involvement includes mission trips with CatalystYouth Group.

After graduation,Weston plans to attend Oklahoma State University for a bachelor’s in music industry to pursue a career in music production.

Adrianna Rivera,Valedictorian

Adrianna Rivera is the daughter of Elizeo Rivera and Linda Rivera, and Amanda Lutz and August Campbell.Shehasattended Chandler Public Schools for six years.

She has a 4.0 GPA and received several music awards, including Outstanding Performance in Chandler Music Makers, Outstanding Performance at the Heartland Music Festival, and Excellence ratings in Solo and Ensemble for District and State contests. She’s also received Outstanding Student for Trigonometry, a Good Citizen Citation, a National Recognition Award, Statesman Torch Award for Gordon Cooper’s BPA Chapter and the Pastor’s Round Table Award.

Adrianna is a member of Music Makers, Gordon Cooper Technical Honor Society, Gordon Cooper BPA, Rotary Club and Lions Club.

She attends of God’s House of Prayer and helps with the food pantry. She also helps with Douglas Gym,includingOpenGym during the summer, and withCitizensImprovement of Chandler events.

After graduation, Adrianna plans to attend Oklahoma State University’s Honor College and pursue two bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Hospitality and Tourism.

Journey Sanchez,Valedictorian

Journey Sanchez is the daughter of Brandon and Amylynn Sanchez and John and Harmonee Tuyo. She has attended Chandler Public Schools for 14 years.

She has a 4.0 GPA and is a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society. She won Best in Show and First PlaceattheOklahomaState Fair in Fine Arts. She is also a four-time champion for Chandler High School Pom and a member of the National Honor Society.

Journey is a member of the Catalyst Youth Group, Academic Team, Gifted and Talented and Leadership Team for First Baptist Church of Chandler.

Her community involve- ment includes volunteering at God & People’s Pantry and Vacation Bible School at FBC Chandler. She also takes part in youth mentorship at her church and has painted murals in Chandler and Arcadia.

After graduation, Journey plans to attend Southwestern Christian University in Bethany, Okla., to pursue a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing so she can continue in fine arts.

Mattison White, Valedictorian

Mattison White is the daughter of Matt andAngie White. She has attended Chandler Public Schools since pre-K.

Mattison has a 4.0 GPA and has been on the honor roll. She’s a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society, Rotarian of the Month, Lion of the Month and a four-time pom state champ. She’s received Academic Excellence Awards and won the Hiland Dairy Scholarship, UCO Bronze and Blue Scholarship and Top Go Pro Scholarship, andisatwo-timeAcademic State champ. She won third place in the Masonic Essay contest, an Excellence in Honors English, Biology, Spanish I, History and Physical Science. She was the 2025 Snow Queen and Mark of Excellence NationalDanceChampion.

Mattison is the Senior Class President, National Honor Society President and a member of Postponing Sexual Involvement, Student Council, Oklahoma Honor Society, Gifted and Talented, Positive Peers, Business Professionals of America, Lions Club, Rotary Club, BancFirst Student Board of Directors and Life Church. She is the cross country manager, track manager and a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes andDreamCatcher’sDance Company.

She has volunteered at the Chandler powerlifting meet, participated in the Veterans Day Assembly, assisted with Cops & Kids andtheWiseGuyGirlPower conference, served at the Ice Cream Festival, read to first and second graders at East Side Elementary, helped at Vacation Bible School, volunteered at the Bone and Joint Hospital in OKC, painted windows during Christmas, helped with Meals on Wheels and worked with Chandler Recycles. Mattison has also volunteered at Sip and Shop, Parent University and Boots and Pearls.

After graduation, Mattison plans to attend the University of Central Oklahoma to pursue a degree in accounting and eventually obtain her CPA. She will also dance on the UCO pom team.

Katie Wright, Valedictorian

Katie Wright is the daughter of Jeremy and Shawna Wright. She has attended Chandler Public Schools since pre-K.

She has a 4.0 GPA and has attended four years of Honors English. She has also won Grand Champion Market Barrow 2026 (Local Livestock Show, Future Farmers of America), 1st Place Ag. Communications team 2025 (Central Area Career Development Event, Future Farmers of America), Top High Individual Ag. Communications 2025 (Central Area Career Development Event, Future Farmers of America), and 3rd Place Regional Speaking Contest, Agriscience Division 2025 (Future Farmers of America).

Katie has been a member of FFA, National Honor Society, Positive Peers, Basketball, track and field and yearbook.

Her community involvement includes reindeer food with elementary students, Coffee with Heroes, the Chandler Chamber Banquet, Valentine’s and Christmas cards for nursing home residents, helping with an educational conference for fifth-grade students, working with a local food pantry and working at the Regional Food Bank. She’s also read to first graders, helped weed-eat fire hydrants and cleaned up streets, Chandler Recycling 2025 and OperationChristmasChild.

After graduation, Katie plans to attend Rose State College in the fall for General Education credits, and then transfer to Oklahoma State University to continue her education and pursue a degree in Agribusiness with a minor in Finance.

Finley West, Salutatorian

Finley West is the son of Curtis and Lauren West. He has attended Chandler Public Schools since third grade.

He has a 3.98 GPA and is a member of the Lions Club. He’s also received SYNCO Star of the Week and placed tenth at the Tom Taylor Memorial Invitational for golf in 2025.

Finley’s clubs and organizations include Gifted and Talented, Academic Team, Golf Team, Student Council (Vice-President Sophomore year) and BancFirst Student Board of Directors.

His community involvement includes serving veterans at lunch for Veterans Day in 2022, the Museum Garden Cleanup in 2023, makingChristmascardsfor nursing home residents in 2022 and making cards for veterans on Veterans Days in 2022 and 2023.

After graduation, Finley plans to attend Oklahoma State University and major in Political Science. After college, he wants to start a career in politics by working for local representatives and then one day running for office.
