Meeker FFA member Michael Pritchard competed in the sheep show at the Fletcher Fall Free Fair, earning top placings with each of his entries.
Pritchard earned 1st place with his Natural Ewe, 2nd place with his Hampshire Wether, and 2nd place with his Blackface Cross.
Pritchard said one of his favorite parts of the show was the atmosphere.
“My favorite thing was showing on grass under the lights with cooler temps.”
Overall, Pritchard was pleased with how his sheep performed.
“My sheep placed well, a first and two seconds,” he said. He was especially happy to get his Hampshire Wether out for the first time and place in the top two.
The Fletcher Fall Free Fair gave Pritchard another opportunity to show his sheep projects and see the results of the time and work he has put into raising and preparing his animals.
