Frank Reedy of Parkland, Okla., was born March 27, 1938, in Parkland and died Monday, August 5, 2019, at the age of 81 years.
Reedy, the son of Frank and Ruth (Stevens) Reedy, married Barbara Gayhart on March 17, 1959.
A 1956 graduate of Agra High School, he worked as a rural mail carrier out of the Chandler Post Office. He was a member of Church of the Firstborn in Perkins, Okla.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his siblings, Helen Brooks, Gerald Reedy, and Betty Brown-Fick.
Survivors include his wife Barbara of the home; his children and their spouses, Jana and Mark Shelton of Perkins, and Steve and Becky Reedy of Agra; seven grandchildren and their spouses; nine great-grandchildren; his siblings, Ruthene Hiemer of Tryon, Diane and husband Richard Wolfe and Sherre and R.C. Brandenburg, all of Stillwater, Okla.; and other family and friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Church of the Firstborn in Perkins. Burial followed at Parkland Cemetery under the direction of Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing.
