Ella Ruth Rose of Meeker was born April 25, 1937, in Shawnee, Okla. She died Wednesday, October 30, 2019, in Meeker at the age of 82 years.
Rose, the daughter of Clyde and Ida (Jordan) Grove, married James “Jim” David Rose on December 12, 1963.
She attended Meeker Public Schools and was of the Baptist faith.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; one brother-in-law, Mike Kline; and two sisters-in-law, Judith Wilson and Helen Rose.
Survivors include two sons David Wendell Coffey and husband Forrest Billingsley of Guthrie, Okla., and Wesley Paul Coffey of Meeker; her daughter and son-in-law, Susan Janelle (Rose) and Shannon Steele of Tulsa, Okla.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister Carolann Kline of Chandler, her brother-in-law Larry Eugene Rose, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague with burial following at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker.
Arrangements were under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
