Wayne Lloyd Spiva Sr. was born January 31, 1936, in Sulphur, Okla. He died Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at his home in Agra at the age of 83 years.
Spiva, the son of John Willard and Lela Lena (Kincaid) Spiva, married Patricia Ellen Davidson in 1955.
He worked as a carpenter in commercial construction.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one son-in-law, Gary Howell.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years Patricia Spiva of the home; his daughters and sons-in-law, Patty and Frank Rendel, Joanne Howell, and Susan and Larry Gourley; two sons, Wayne Spiva Jr., and John Spiva; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
As per his request, there will be no formal service but the family will have a private memorial gathering. Final arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
