Flora “Faye” Farar was born December 6, 1936, near Stroud. She died Monday, December 2, 2019, at her home, the Stroud Health Care Center.
She was 83 years old.
Farar, the daughter of Rile Bolen and Nancy Alcorn Bolen, married Clifford Farar in Bakersfield, Calif.
She worked as a certified nursing assistant in Chandler and Stroud.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two children, Phyllis and Stanley; her brothers, Hubert, Lester, Percy and Tommy; and her sisters, Gladys, Ruby, Bessie, Lavonne and Juanita.
Survivors include her son Floyd, her daughter-in-law Billie; nine grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren; and other family and friends.
Family services are pending under the direction of Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, Okla.
