Rustin Eric Bender of Chandler was born August 29, 1989, in Oklahoma City. He died Wednesday, February 26, 2020, in Oklahoma City at the age of 30 years.
A homeschooled student, Rustin graduated from high school in 2007. He completed studies in Professional Diesel Mechanics at Gordon Cooper Technology Center in Shawnee, Okla., and worked as a diesel mechanic for Acord Transportation.
He was preceded in death by four grandparents.
Survivors include his parents, Scott and Annette (Foste) Bender of Chandler; three children, Callie, George, and Riot and their mothers; his siblings and their spouses, Ryan and Robert Blair of Bella Vista, Ark., Daron and Jessica Bender, Kristen Bender, Brandon and Carly Bender, Erin and Joshua Lawler, Ashton Bender, Simon Bender, and Ethan Bender, all of Chandler, Trevin Bender of Louisville, Ky., Caitlyn and Coleton Bragg of Aviano, Italy; his maternal grandmother; and other family and friends.
A funeral service was held Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at First Baptist Church of Chandler with burial following at Oak Park Cemetery. Final arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
