Jordon Cristopher Lackey, 19, of Shawnee was arrested and charged with grand larceny, knowingly receiving or concealing stolen property, pattern of criminal offenses, driving with license that has been cancelled, suspended or revoked and operating a vehicle with expired, improper tag or decal.
According to the affidavit filed by Deputy Mark Kelly, on June 17 at approximately 4:45 PM he responded to a call in McLoud OK, in regard to a stolen Sportsman camper. When Officer Kelly arrived on the scene, the victim, David Vanhooser showed the officer pictures of the suspects and the vehicle they were they were in that towed the camper away. In the picture it was clearly visible what the two individuals looked like. Approximately two and a half hours later, at around 6:13 PM, Kelly was told that the suspected vehicle was spotted at a residence in Luther. The victim posted photos on Facebook of the missing camper and someone commented on it being at the residence in Luther.
The victim arrived at the residence and upon seeing the camper and suspected vehicle, leading the suspects to leave the premises with the victim in pursuit of them. Officer Kelly was then able to pull the suspects over and the three people in the suspected vehicle matched the picture provided by Vanhooser previously. They were later identified as Casey Rivera, Jordon Cristopher and Michael Hensley.
After informing the suspects that the trailer was stolen, Lackey stated that he had bought the trailer earlier that day. After checking Lackey’s liscence, it showed that it had been revoked. The tag on the suspected vehicle also didn’t match the name that it was registered under.
Officer Kelly then informed Lackey of his miranda rights and he was arrested for “grand larceny, DUS and improper tag display.”
Casey was then arrested for grand larceny as well. Hensley was free to go as he claimed he was just getting a ride and didn’t know what was going on.
On July 30, Jordon Christopher Lackey is to make his initial appearance in court. On July 23 Casey Rivera is expected to attend the pre-preliminary hearing after initially appearing on June 25.
Identity theft
Kristian D. Booker, 42, of Midwest City, was charged with five counts of identity theft on June 23, according to court records.
Kela Rae Miller of Oklahoma City was charged with three counts of identity theft, one count of possession of controlled substance and one count of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed by Kickapoo tribal police department and Cross Commissioned with District 23 Attorneys Task Force’s Officer Steven Hinkle, the officer responded to a call in regards to a “suspicious person” attempting to use an identification card at the Kickapoo casino located in Harrah. When the officer arrived, he spoke with Casino Se
When the officer arrived, he spoke with Casino Security Officer Elyssa Tallbear-Coker about how she had noticed a female, later identified as Kela Miller, attempting to use an identification card that “appeared to be counterfeit.” The Security Officer led Officer Hinkle to where the suspect was located.
When Officer Hinkle approached Miller, he instructed her to cash out her machine and to follow him outside. The individual she was with, later identified as Kristian D. Booker, followed them outside voluntarily. Officer Hinkle did not ask him to.
Once outside, Officer Hinkle instructed miller to show him her ID. The card appeared to be altered or tampered with. The officer then clarified to Casino Security Officers that it was indeed to card she had shown them earlier.
At this point Officer Hinkle asked for Booker’s ID card, in which he replied that he did not have one. He then told the officer that his name was Kristian Booker. The police database could not find that name and officer Hinkle asked him again what his name was and wanted to make sure he spelled it correctly.
When given a notepad to spell it, he wrote out Kristian Booker instead of Kristian Thompson. Booker then explained he had thrown away his ID in a trash can inside the casino after being prompted as to whether or not he had an ID by Officer Hinkle.
When Booker reached in the trash can to retrieve it, he pulled out five ID cards with five different names. Four of the cards had Booker’s face on them. Officer Hinkle then contacted dispatch and asked for them to search his legal name, Booker. It came back that he had a warrant in Texas. At that time Booker was taken in to custody.
Miller was also placed in custody for outstanding warrants and charges pending. Her purse was then searched by Officer Hinkle, and inside he found a glass pipe with, “burn marks consistent with the consumption of illegal narcotics.” The officer also found several small bags of what appeared to be a crystal substance inside, along with multiple fraudulent ID cards, forged credit cards and forged checks.
