Don McCollough was born April 7, 1937, in Shattuck Okla. He died Friday, August 14, 2020, in Oklahoma City at the age of 83 years.
McCollough, the son of W.D. and Ida (Appel) Mc-Collough, married Marilyn Ann Forester on July 24, 1960, in Arnett, Okla.
He served in the United States Marine Corps and worked in the oil and gas business starting out as a roughneck on a drilling rig and retiring as manager of a drilling and consulting firm, Well Site Supervision Inc.
He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Shawnee, Okla.
He is survived by his wife; two sons and daughters-in-law, Justin and Renee McCollough and Jason and Sherri McCollough; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his brother and sister-in-law, Colmer and Linda McCollough of Colorado; and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Final arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
