The COVID-influenced football playoffs begin Friday night with six area teams involved in the post-season.
Chandler, which finished 7-3 and was second in district 2A- 2, hosts the Alva Gold Bugs at 7:30 Friday night.
With a win, the Lions would advance to meet the winner of Friday’s Meeker-Perry game.
The Bulldogs and Maroons, who split games the last two season, play at 7 p.m. Friday at Perry.
The Bulldogs were idle last week due to a confirmed COVID case on the team. They finished the season at 4-4 and were seventh in the district.
Prague, which finished 5-3 and sixth in the district, goes to Blackwell for a 7:30 game.
The winner of that game will advance to play Millwood the following week.
McLoud travels Plainview for a 7:30 game. The Redskins finished 5-4. Plainview was 4-6.
Stroud travels to Colcord for a 7:30 game with the Hornets, who finished 8-1.
Davenport gets a bye this week, then meets the winner of the Foyil-Garber game next week.
The Bulldogs finished 8-1.
