Deanna Gail (Hubbard) Wood was born May 12, 1958, in Shawnee, Okla., and died Monday, November 23, 2020, at her home near Meeker. She was 62 years old.
Wood, the daughter of Wilburn and Laverne (Markwell) Hubbard, married Mike Wood on October 1, 1994.
She graduated from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater with a bachelor’s degree and worked as an accountant for Citizen Pottawatomi Nation and Absentee Shawnee. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her parents; her husband; two sons, Jacob Wood and Zack Wood; her sister and brother-in-law, Conna and Steve Webb; her brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Tara Hubbard; and other relatives and friends.
Services were held Friday, November 27, 2020, at Aydelotte Church of Christ near Shawnee with Harold Gibson officiating. Burial followed at New Hope Cemetery, Meeker, under the direction of Walker Funeral Service, Shawnee.
