Jerry Nelson was born March 13, 1933, in Chandler and died Saturday, January 30, 2021, in Chandler. She was 87 years old.
Nelson, the daughter of Bill and Viola Sprague, married Leo Nelson of Eagle Grove, Iowa, on July 5, 1952.
A 1951 Chandler High School graduate, s he worked for the telephone company and Union National Bank and was a member of United Methodist Church where she served as secretary.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband and her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jeri Len and Jeff Hylton of Spring, Texas; two granddaughters and their spouses; four great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Anita Idio, Judy Sprague and Lois Sprague; and other relatives and friends.
A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
