Don Paul Fondren

A graveside service will be held for Don Paul Fondren at 11 a.m., today, October 22, 2020, at Chandler Catholic Cemetery. Care services are provided by Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.

Fondren was born December 15, 1941, in Frederick, Okla., and died Sunday, October 18, 2020, at his home in Chandler. He was 78 years old.

The son of Ernest Ray Fondren and Norma Clare (Huffer) Fondren, he married Saloma Joyce Camp in 1964 in Oklahoma City.

He attended Oklahoma State University and worked for OG&E. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Chandler.

Preceding him in death were his father and Lona Lorraine Fondren, his mother, his daughter-in-law Jara Fondren and one granddaughter.

Survivors include his wife; his sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Kristin Fondren, Gary Fondren, Charles and Rosalind Fondren, Matt and Naomi Fondren; his daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Nick Guglielmo; his brother Earl Ray Fondren; his sister Patricia Messerschmidt; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
