Kenneth Leon Williams was born November 29, 1932, and died March 12, 2022, in Stroud. He was 89 years old.
Williams, who grew up in Stroud with his mother Edith and stepfather Woodrow W. Sosbee, married Peggy Sue Hicks of Davenport of August 20, 1954.
He had a successful career in the field of refractories. Preceding him in death were his father Jimmy Williams, his wife and one grandson.
Survivors include his daughter Luann Williams of Stroud and son Douglas L. Williams of Atlanta; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; his sister Patti Sosbee Riley; and other family and friends.
Per his request, there will be no funeral or memorial. Care services are provided by Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
