William Joseph “Bill” Hugueley

William Joseph “Bill” Hugueley passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 at the age of 62. Bill was born March 31, 1958 in Dearborn, Mich., to Billy Joe Hugueley and Carol Lee (Haugen) Hugueley. A 1976 graduate of Chandler High School, he worked construction with his father before attending Central Florida Bible College in preparation for going into the ministry. He ultimately worked his way to graduating with a Masters in Religious Education from Phillips University in Enid, Okla. His heart and calling were with the small rural churches and he most recently pastored at First Christian Church in Apache, Okla., and the Shawnee Christian Church in Shawnee, Okla.

Bill was never happier than when he was with his grandchildren or in the pulpit. He was lead carpenter working on Splash Mountain in Disneyland, Calif., in the late1980’s, enjoyed woodworking, researching his Scottish heritage and visiting historical sites with Elaine while on vacation.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Elaine (Sylvester) Hugueley of the home; their two children and their spouses, David A. Hugueley and wife, Kimberlee of Owasso, Okla., and Joni A. Alford and her husband, Greg of Enterprise, Ala.; father and mother, Billy Joe and Carol Hugueley of Chandler; brothers Randy Hugueley and wife Bonnie also of Chandler, Craig Hugueley and wife Trisha of Canterbury, N.H., and sister Cheryl Williams-Davis of Sapulpa, Okla.; 7 grandchildren, Tristin McCoy, Brianna Tarver, Brady & Berkeley Hugueley, Scotty, Tanya & Donovan Alford; numerous nieces, nephews.

Visitation for family only was held on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Chandler. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Condolences may be offered online at www. parksbrothers.net. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
