Ada Mae Teters

Ada Mae Teters was born March 11, 1917, in Milfay, Okla., and died Monday, January 13, 2020, in Oklahoma City. She was 102 years old.

Teters, the daughter of William B. and Grace (Brokenhoff) Brown, married Arlie Teters on May 3, 1933, in Chandler.

She was a homemaker and a member of Assembly of God Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; her daughter Velma Green; and her siblings, Virgil Brown, Mary Coleman, and Bessie Skaggs.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Vera and Jim Bierd of Stroud, and Kathy and Dwight Riley of Bristow, Okla.; her son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Jan Teters of Prague; nine grandchildren and their spouses; 17 great-grandchildren; a host of great-great grandchildren; and other family and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Stroud First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Jeromye Jackson and Pastor Jason Mooy officiating. Burial followed at Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
