David Linwood Foley was born to Hampton and Mary (Via) Foley on October 28, 1939, in Staunton, Va. He died Sunday, December 1, 2019, in Shawnee, Okla., at the age of 80 years.
David served in the United States Navy and worked in carpentry for the Sac and Fox Nation and in nursing homes.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his brothers, Leonard Foley, Kevin Foley, Marlin Foley, and Larry Foley.
Survivors include his wife, Lori (Wilson) Foley and daughter, Kimberly Foley, both of the home; his sons and daughter-in-law, Tony and Kathryn Foley and Barry Foley, all of Bridgewater, Va.; his stepchildren, Vickie Hunt, Jerry Gum, Steve Gum, Darlene and husband Kelly Getz, all of Virginia, Melody Spoon of Shawnee, Misty Taylor and husband R.D. of Chandler, and Dakota Malloy of Pawnee, Okla.
He is also survived by two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; his siblings and their spouses, Hampton and Mable Foley, Ronald Foley, Leatrice Grubb, Arness and Carl Lind, Patricia and Stan Quillen, and Kathy Bennett; and other family and friends.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., today, December 5, 2019, with the family present 5-7 p.m., at Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston. A service will be 2 p.m., Friday, December 6, 2019, at the funeral home. Burial will follow with full military honors at White Dove Cemetery in Sparks. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
