Gary Bruce Morelock of Stroud was born September 10, 1942, in Bristow, Okla. He died Sunday, March 1, 2020, in Oklahoma City at the age of 70 years.
Morelock, the son of Donald and Aline (Davidson) Morelock, married Denise Williams on January 25, 1979.
He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War as a member of the Seabees. He worked for General Telephone and Electronics Corporation and also pumped oil wells.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his brother Jeff Morelock.
Survivors include his wife Denise Morelock; his son and daughter-in-law, Garrett and Cari Morelock of Piedmont, Okla.; his daughters and sons-in-law, Maranda and Johnny Cody of Kendrick, Denisha and Shawn Harris of Stroud, and Amber and Clay Davis of Paden; nine grandchildren; his sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Daniel Patterson of Prague; and other family and friends.
A graveside service was held Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at Prague Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
