Harlin Earl Taylor

Harlin “Earl” Taylor was born September 14, 1943, in Agra and died Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at his home in Agra. He was 76 years old.

Taylor, a 1961 graduate of Agra High School, served in the United States Army Reserve and retired from Lucent Technologies.

The son of Francis and Myrtle Taylor, he married Glenda Allen in October 2005.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his first wife Margaret; three brothers, Wesley Taylor, Carl Taylor, and Bill Taylor; and two sisters, Ruth Jeske and Lucy Rolan.

Survivors include his wife Glenda Taylor of the home; two stepchildren, David and Teresa Allen of Agra, and Raylene and Ed Hobbs of Tryon; four step-grandchildren; and four step great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Clyde and Glenda Taylor, and Ralph and Agnes Taylor, all of Shawnee, Okla.; his sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Don Miller of Shawnee; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Thursday, January 9, 2020, at Parkland Church of the Firstborn in Parkland, Okla., with burial following at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City. Arrangements were under the direction of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Okla.
