James Kevin Cockrell was born April 4, 1956, in Winfield, Kan. He died Thursday, January 9, 2020, in Weleekta, Okla., at the age of 63 years.
Cockrell was preceded in death by his father Johnnie Darrell Cockrell.
Survivors include his mother Shirley (Troyer) Cockrell of Oklahoma City; his son and daughter-in-law James “Sam” and Emily Cockrell of Edmond, Okla.; his daughter and son-in-law Jackie and Tyler Miller of Edmond; his brother and sister-in-law Jon Michael and Concesa Cockrell of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren; and other family and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, January 17, 2020, at Parks Brothers Chapel in Stroud with Larry Iles officiating. Services were under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
