Louis Nathanial Dale was born November 18, 1927, in Rosedale, Okla. He died Monday, September 2, 2019, in Shawnee, Okla., at the age of 91 years.
Dale, the son of Thomas and Sadye (Killian) Dale, married Velma Louise George on December 23, 1945.
He served in the United States Army and was a retired captain with the Oklahoma City Fire Department.
Preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers, Boyce Dale, Bill Dale, and Jack Dale; and his sister Oletha (Dale) Graham.
Survivors include his wife Velma Dale of the home; his daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa Schmidt, Vickie and Roger Foulks, Debbie Dale, and Natalie and Tony Ussrey; eight grandchildren and their spouses; 18 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; his brother Gary Dale; and other relatives and friends.
A funeral was held Saturday, September 7, 2019, at Assembly of God Church in Chandler with burial following at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler.
Arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
