Phyllis Jean Munson of Stroud was born April 9, 1949, in Winfield, Kan. She died Monday, April 20, 2020, in Oklahoma City at the age of 71 years.
Munson, the daughter of Alexander and Betty (Barnickle) Anderson, married Ray E. Munson on May 21, 1966, in Winfield.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her son Michael Ray Munson and her brother Rickey Anderson.
Survivors include her husband; her daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa Ann and Jason Moore, and April Jean Munson, all of Stroud, and Kaylene Renee and Ryan Bernard of McAlester, Okla.; her son Alexander Arthur Munson of Prague; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Jackie Anderson and Robert and Bessie Anderson, all of Formosa, Kan., and Bobby and Tracey Anderson of Winfield; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Virgil Scott of Afton, Okla., Jacqueline and Garry Finney of Lancaster, Ohio, and Debbie and Steve Tackett of Winfield; and other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
