Roy Lee Cypert was born July 22, 1936, in Shady Grove, Ark., and died Tuesday, December 24, 2019, at his home in Wellston. He was 83 years old.
Cypert, the son of Crayton E. and Stella Ray (Whimpy) Cypert, married Wanda Deloris Gordon on July 5, 1973, in Miami, Okla.
He was a police officer with Lincoln County and the Sac and Fox Nation.
He had six children and six stepchildren, Sharron, Rebecca, Barbra, David, Linda, Tommy, Deloris, Richard, Raymond, Riley, Roscoe and Janet.
He also had one brother and three sisters; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and great-great-great grandchildren.
A funeral was held Thursday, December 27, 2019, in the chapel of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston, which handled the final arrangements. Burial followed at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Okla.
