A graveside memorial service will be held for Sharon Faye (Massey) McClendon of Stroud at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 16, 2020, at Stroud Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.

McClendon was born Mar. 5, 1944, in Shawnee, Okla. She died Thursday, June 18, 2020, in Oklahoma City at the age of 76 years.

The daughter of Albert Isaac and Dorthy Modena (Bias) Massey, she married Daniel Stephens White on Nov. 10, 1961. She was a homemaker and worked at the garment factory in Chandler.

She married LeRoy “Tobe” McClendon in the late 1980s. They owned a trucking company and team-drove throughout the United States.

Preceding her in death were her parents, both husbands and her sister Wanda Martin.

Survivors include Aubrey Bounds of the home; her sisters, Lucille Manning of Stroud and Almadene Herd of Chandler; her brother James Massey of Stroud; her daughters, Janette Cornett and Benny Melson of Stroud and Danette and husband Robert Carroll of Davenport; her son and daughterin-law, Daron and Tonya White of Calumet, Okla.; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
