Lincoln County commissioners Monday implemented a countywide burn ban, meaning no outside burning will be allowed for 14 days beginning that day. Their action came on a unanimous vote during an emergency meeting that was held at the conclusion of their regular meeting on Monday.

Meeker man bound over for trial for abuse carges

A Meeker man facing sexual abuse charges with a child under 12 has been bound over to stand trial on amended charges. Two felony charges of sexual abuse with a child under 12 were originally filed April 4 against Jason Stuart Kirkwood, 42.

McLoud Alumni annual reunion
