Hearing set in kidnapping

A preliminary hearing is scheduled next month for a man charged with two felonies, including kidnapping for extortion and robbery with a weapon. Formal charges of kidnapping for extortion and robbery with a weapon were filed in Lincoln County District Court on Nov.

Fines waived for food donations

The Chandler Public Library is having a food drive. Bring non-perishable food items to the library from now until Jan. 14, 2022. Fines will be waived for previously returned overdue books or for overdue books returned along with the food items. This does not apply to lost book fees.
