When you and your husband had your first child and then every conversation after that was about that child, do you remember saying to your spouse, “What did we talk about before this baby?” Well, that’s how I feel about Project Bugle Boy.
We live in a technological world. I get that.
It seems technological advances are moving so quickly it’s mind boggling to people like me.
Someone asked me several years ago what we did before we had cell phones. He was a person in his 60s and he is a person I’d consider tech savvy.
It was encouraging to see voters throughout Lincoln County show up last week and approve two propositions.
Voters overwhelmingly gave a thumbs up to renewal of the one percent county sales tax for another five years with 78.78 percent in favor of the proposition.
Hunting and fishing has changed so much since I was a kid. Of course that’s been considerably over 60 years.
That can probably be attributed to all the various rules and regulations put in place by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation over a period of time.
That Sunday morning broke clear across the countryside near Waco, Texas, but the chill in the air foreshadowed a cold front that would roll through later.

Activities happening around Stroud for the next few days are Metal Detecting Club will meet at Stroud City Hall, tonight (Thursday), February 16th at 7:00 p.m., Central Vo-Tech in Drumright will hold their annual open house from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Many don’t realize they are to communicate with their soul. We do a lot of things our soul doesn’t like, and when we do we are causing our soul to stop communicating.
Many hear their soul but don’t give thought to what it says. It is cut off by the cares of this life.
Next Tuesday is Valentine’s Day. I learned many years ago what needs to be done for this day.
I’ve done different things, but there are some basics that have become entrenched in my mind that are a must.
One is, order the flowers early.
Not just any flowers, but roses.
