Burglary charges

A man previously convicted of nine felonies since 2013 faces two more following his arrest by Lincoln County Sheriff deputies.Two counts of first degree burglary were formally filed Oct. 9 in Lincoln County District against Colton Wade Long, 34, of Garber, Okla.

The sun was bright, shining directly into the eyes of spectators in the stands. However, that didn’t stop the cheers and high energy of the crowd early Saturday morning as the marching band lined up on the far side of the football field.

OKC Memorial, Museum visits Wellston

The Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum is visiting all 77 counties in Oklahoma to mark the 30th anniversary year of the Murrah bombing, with its second stop in Wellston on Oct. 2, according to a press release from the foundation.
