Lincoln County commissioners this week approved a payment to the IRS for E-911 back taxes and agreed to pay that out of the General Fund. The payment reportedly is for $37,356,84 if paid by the end of December.

Trial set in neglect case

A jury trial has been scheduled for one of four persons from Wellston charged with child neglect and arraignments have been set for the other three. The four were residing in the same residence with nine children at the time of their arrest. One of the four is facing a second felony.
