Paul G Beloncik, 77, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at his home in Chandler, Oklahoma. Paul was born on May 21, 1946, in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Frank Joseph and Ethlyn Elaine (Gillock) Beloncik. Paul was a life-long resident of Chandler, living in Chandler since the 2nd grade.

Martha Belle (Keaton) Cunningham was born February 21, 1928 in Wanette, Oklahoma to Monroe and Julia (Doss) Keaton. She went to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at her home in Chandler at the age of 95. Martha married John L. Cunningham on September 26, 1945.

Lincoln County commissioners this week approved the budget numbers for the Fiscal Year 2024 Estimate of Needs and awarded bids on street and bridge projects. Lincoln County Clerk Alicia Wagnon advised commissioners the budget numbers for FY 2024 are more than $14.5 million.

A Wellston man convicted of three previous felonies and a misdemeanor faces a new felony count after his arrest by a Highway Patrol Trooper. Chad Ray Mullendore, 39, was charged in Lincoln County District Sep. 26, 2023 with driving while under the influence of alcohol.

One of four people from Wellston charged with child neglect has waived her hearings and an arraignment has been scheduled while another’s pre-preliminary hearing is set. Preliminary hearings have been scheduled for the two men charged with child neglect.
