Lincoln County commissioners this week decided to reject and throw out all bids for the west wall and stem wall at the Fairgrounds.
Commissioners determined one bid lacked all the required documents and the other bid was too high.
Commission Chairman Lee Doolen noted after the vote, “We’ll just need to start over.”
The commissioners declared a CDBG grant for the Arlington Fire Department as closed and authorized payment of $7,310 to the Central Oklahoma Economic Development District (COEDD) for grant administration fees.
They also adopted a resolution appointing the Board of Directors to the Fallis and Arlington Fire Departments.
Commissioners approved a rate schedule for on demand engineering services with EST, their engineering firm.. They were advised by an EST official, “Anything you all call and need to do throughout the county we’ll estimate the number of hours on Purchase Order. It’s a whole lot cheaper that hiring a right of way agent,” they were assured.
They tabled until their June 6 meeting hiring a part-time employee for 911 addressing and discussing whether to dissolve the 911 Trust Authority.
Commissioners also approved a reimbursement contract with the Oklahoma DEQ for investigation and clean-up of illegal dump sites in Lincoln County.
In other business commissioners: Approved a service agreement between Lincoln County and Clean Uniform.
Adopted a resolution accepting an Oklahoma Department of Homeland Security grant for reimbursements for radios and equipment valued at more than $20,000.
Approved lease purchase extension agreements for motor graders in District 1.
Approved an addendum to the Lincoln
County Employee handbook.
Approved a revised 2021 SEFA report. Following a lengthy discussion, agreed to hire a grant writer for Lincoln County.
Approved new Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority Certificates of Compliance for 691 Cushing LLC, BV Nature Green LLC, Dynamic Frontier LLC, GTS Farms LLC, Kendal M LLC and Phillip Pham Organic Garden LLC.
Approved a location change OMMA Certificate of Compliance for Rancho Stiky Fingerz LLC.
Approved a P-Card Payment Approval Form.
